A brew’s flavor derives from two primary things: Where and how the beans are grown (the terroir, like wine) and how darkly or lightly it’s roasted.
When it comes to roasting, there is no right or wrong level, it comes down to personal taste. We compare the preference for lighter roasts versus darker ones to liking steak rare versus well-done.
We start with choosing the highest quality green beans from around the world, buying from ethical, fair trade estates, respected for their tradition of great coffee and fair practices.
Choosing the harvest times, in relation to what part of the world they’re coming from, also plays a significant role in our crafting your batch of coffee.
We roast and grind your custom-order in small batches, this allows each bean to consistently reach the roast level and consistent grind you chose.
Then . . . your order is ground fresh, evenly and immediately sealed air-tight in our premium quality K-Cups, and sent out straight to your door!
